My first night out on the town

I went out last night for the first time. I was amazed to see how many bars there were. There has to be about 10 bars per 2 blocks. Its crazy. Well here is a picture of my first night out.

7-11

So yesterday I went off base for the first time since I arrived to Korea other than being at the airport. I was very supprised to see that right outside of the main gate there was a 7-11. What the hell. There are no 7-11's in Georgia but they are in South Korea. Up until yesterday I didn't really feel like I was in Korea. Once you step off base you realize your are in a different country.

The day has finally come

Last May 27, 2007 I found out that I will be spending a year in Korea. Back then it seemed like September 2008 couldn't get here fast enough but now that I leave tomorrow I wish I didnt have to go.
